Course Overview

L4 Higher Certificate in Administrative Procedures with ICT is a certificate qualification and therefore has half the credits/units of the full diploma. It will also provide you with the knowledge and understanding to undertake a range of complex administration tasks. This very practical, hands-on course will provide you with the learning experience to develop some of your supervisory skills through actual senior and supervisory activities in a realistic working environment in the college setting. You may undertake study in the following areas: Working in a senior administrative role, supervising a team of staff, train and develop staff, improve verbal communications, present business information, chair a meeting and organise an event whilst enhancing your ICT skills.

This vocational qualification provides the qualifications necessary to apply for employment as an executive/personal administrator in the public or private sector. Students are assessed by College-based OCR assignments and C&G examination. There may be an opportunity for work experience in the second semester which provides a practical insight into career possibilities in administration.
