Course Overview

This qualification is for those who wish to gain the specialist knowledge and practical skills required to work as an advanced technician / engineer in LGV and HGV maintenance and repair sectors; or to develop wider transferable skills for use across the whole retail motor industry. The aim of this Level 4 Certificate is to offer experienced technicians the opportunity to develop their knowledge of management principles, advanced fuel technologies, liaison skills, technical advice and support and diagnostic consultations with customers

This Level 4 qualification provides a progression pathway from Level 3 qualifications in Light Vehicle (601/7324/5 or 500/9814/7), Heavy Vehicle (601/7327/0 or 500/9812/3) and Lift Truck (600/0438/1) Maintenance qualifications, which will enable the learner to further develop and expand their knowledge, understanding and skills required to reach an advanced diagnostic technician / engineer level. This course is in Greystone.
