Successful completion of the course will allow students to progress onto the Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment at NWRC or to another higher education qualification such as a university degree in a construction and the built environment related area.Career Prospects

In developing the programme, the Awarding Body, Pearson BTEC, have aligned content to meet requirements of a number of professional bodies, including the Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institute of Architectural technologists and the Chartered Institute of Building. The course will prepare students for employment in a range of careers in construction and the built environment, including architectural technology, civil engineering, building services engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, either with design consultants, contractors or the public sector.Additional Information
