Students must have a UK Level 5 Childcare Qualification: however, the selection process is implemented by Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT). Students must complete the Atlantic Technological University Advanced Entry application form. Work Placement
Work placement provides students with an opportunity to learn from experience through supervised practice and provides the student with opportunities for observation and engagement in needs assessment, early childhood curriculum planning and implementation.
As placement is an integral part of your qualification a self-declaration of current health status is implicit as part of the overall risk assessment process.
