The hair, beauty and barbering sector is one of the fastest growing industries with a vast number of employment opportunities available. This course provides progression and professional development for those already employed in the industry or those wanting to progress onto the associated Level 6 qualifications. The following subjects are typical examples of what you may study over the Level 5 Extended Diploma in Hair and Beauty Management ; however, course content is regularly reviewed to reflect changes in the industry. Salon sales and quality management, public relations and marketing, research projects, project design, implementation and evaluation, management of client care, health and safety, lifestyle and well-being, hair and scalp specialist services, employability skills and work experience Progression routes include salon management, progression to associated Level 6 qualifications , hair & beauty educator roles and specialist further higher education programmes.
