Course Overview

The course will develop the advanced practical skills and theory knowledge required in the Carpentry sector. Whether the joiner is working alone or in a team the individual takes on a high level of personal responsibility and autonomy. From working safely through to exceptional planning and organising, accuracy, concentration and attention to detail to achieve an excellent finish, every step in the process matters. The course is aimed at those in employment and hold previous a Level 2 site carpentry qualification. Our staff will also assess the student in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

The course is aimed at those who are employed in the trade area of site carpentry and hold a Level 2 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery from a recognised body eg C&G Level 2 NVQ /Dip in Site carpentry or equivalent. This is Yr1 of a two year course.

For the talented carpenter there are many commercial and international opportunities; students can also progress to HNC/HND in Construction. City and guilds registrations fees apply and any exam resit fees. This course will be run subject to numbers and the day may change until timetable is confirmed.
