Course Overview

This qualification enables learners to engage in learning that is relevant to them and which will provide opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. It will allow learners to achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 vocational qualification and progress to employment. Over the course of one year learners will build a portfolio of evidence to achieve the qualification. Enrolment is subject to checks, including a satisfactory Access NI check. Learners will attend placement within a school from Primary 3 to Year 12 for two days per week.

Fees must be paid at the time of enrolment, or arrangements should be put in place to pay by instalments. The full fee includes tuition, registration and examination fees (where relevant). Failure to enrol before the Awarding Body deadline may result in you incurring a late fee.

Additional Information

Many learners secure employment within a school setting shortly after qualifying. In recent years some have decided to continue their studies and progress to Level 5 qualifications within the College. They have found this course to be an excellent foundation to their continued learning.
