Course Overview

This programme has been designed to prepare you for a career in the Hospitality & Tourism industry.Your modules of study will include: Event Operations, Introduction to Hospitality & Tourism, Food & Beverage Operations, Incoming & Domestic Tourism; Global Tourism Destinations, Facility Operations, Finance, Employability, Work Based Learning, Management in Action,Human Resources Management, Marketing & Entrepreneurship and Global Tourism Management Issues, Food & Beverage Management. On full course completion, you may have the opportunity to progress to the BSC Hons Degree in International Hospitality Management at Ulster University or a similar subject degree programme at another HE Institution or University within the UK or Ireland. Exemptions for modules already achieved will be determined by the specific degree you apply to as well as the Universities regulations in relation to exemptions.You can also progress into a number of career pathways within the sectors of Hospitality, Tourism, Travel and Events.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

- 64 UCAS Points + GCSE Maths Grade C or equivalent AND GCSE English Grade C or equivalent- 64 UCAS Points + OLC (Grade 04 or above) in English and MathsIdeal qualification for anyone wishing to enter the world of Hospitality & Tourism Management or to progress up the career ladder within the industry. All applicants must attend an information session which will be communicated to them on receipt of application.

Material fees of £40 also required. Day trips, site visits and guest speakers play an important part of the programme along with additional qualifications to enhance employability and individual skills sets and it is recommended that all aspects are engaged with throughout the entire programme of study.
