Course Overview

This course is focused on reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense pulse light and laser treatments. You will cover the following units• Client care and communication in beauty related industries• Laser and light treatments for hair removal• Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation• Management of health, safety and security in the salonThis qualification will require research; it includes the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs.

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline prior to undertaking this qualification. Your centre will have ensured that you have the required knowledge, understanding and skills to enrol and successfully achieve this qualification.Interview Required

When you have successfully completed this qualification you will be in a position to aspire to promotion as an advanced beauty therapist providing laser and IPL services within a beauty salon or self employed offering this very popular treatment. Material Fee of £30 required for uniform.
