Entry Requirements
UK Requirements
48 UCAS points including an A level pass in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths or equivalent), and 3 GCSE level (Grades A, B or C) and/or AS Level or alternative approved qualifications (eg. Access Diploma with at least one science module) to include English Grade C or equivalent (eg. Essential skills level 2 communications) and GCSE Maths Grade C (Please note - Level 2 Essential Skills Numeracy is not accepted). Interview required. Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) may be considered for entry. ROI Entry: 48 UCAS points including 1 Higher Leaving Cert Pass (Grade D/H6) in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths or equivalent) + OLC (Grade 04 or above) to include Maths, English and science. Upon completion of this course, you may progress into the second year of existing Honours degree programmes at Ulster University based on the 3 + 2 model (3 years part-time followed by 2 years at UU full-time). You can progress to similar degrees at other universities or begin to explore employment opportunities in this field including Pharmacy Technician, Dietetic assistant, Cardiology Technician, Audiology Technician, Basic Level Pharmacology staff, School technician and other similar roles.
