Course Overview

Modules of study will include: Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Human Nutrition and Work Based Learning. The course will be delivered over 6 semesters which is equivalent to 3 years of study. In year 3, you are expected to complete a work based learning module which will consist of 320 hours work in a science based industry.

Additional Information

Upon completion of this course, you may progress into the second year of existing Honours degree programmes at Ulster University based on the 3 + 2 model (3 years part-time followed by 2 years at UU full-time). You can progress to similar degrees at other universities or begin to explore employment opportunities in this field including Pharmacy Technician, Dietetic assistant, Cardiology Technician, Audiology Technician, Basic Level Pharmacology staff, School technician and other similar roles.
