Course Modules
- Produce tiles, mosaic and stone surface finishes
- Provide Drainage for Tiled Surfaces
- Produce Internal and external sand and cement backgrounds
- Prepare the background and tile out a wet room
- Knowledge of building methods and construction technology
- Knowledge of information, quantities and communicating with others
- Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction
- Building methods and construction technology
- NOCN L3 NVQ in wall and floor tiling (QUA851)
Entry Requirements
UK Requirements
GCSE Maths, English & ICT at Grade C or above and Level 2 vocational qualification in Wall and Floor tiling is required prior to course entry. You must also have employment with a N.Ireland registered company confirmed.ROI Requirements
Leaving Certificate English, Maths & ICT at Grade O5 or above and Level 2 vocational qualification in Wall and Floor tiling prior to course entry. You must also have employment with a N.Ireland registered company confirmed.Additional Requirements Prior to Entry
Attendance at Information Session
Work Placement
You are employed so your attendance at NWRC is 1 day per week to complete the Level 3 qualification and you will also be assessed on site by NWRC Assessor.
