Course Overview

The Level 2 City & Guilds Award in 2D Computer Aided Design is an industry recognised qualification that provides learners with training on the use of specialist software. The course will enable learners to gain the knowledge and practical skills to create complex 2-dimensional drawings including annotations using AutoCAD software.

UK Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, however, some experience using computers will be beneficial.

Additional Information

The course is delivered through a series of worked examples which will be designed to gradually extend the learner’s knowledge and application, culminating in externally set practical assignments and written short answer tests. The course is designed for students with no previous knowledge of the software; however, basic IT skills would be beneficial.
