Entry Requirements
UK Requirements
(a) Satisfy the University’s general entry requirements; AND (b) Have attained Grade A, B or C at GCSE in 5 subjects (to include GSCE English) or an equivalent standard in an approved qualification; AND (c) Provide evidence of competence in numeracy (GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent – this requirement may be met within (b) and can be met with level 2 Essential Skills Application of number; (d) hold a BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care or a related Level 3 subject area, or 1 GCE A Level pass or equivalent (with a minimum of 48 UCAS points); OR as an alternative to (a), (b), (c) and (d): (e) Provide evidence of their ability to undertake the programme through the accreditation of prior experiential learning. APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) may apply for entry (visit www.nwrc.ac.uk/apply for details). All applicants must also satisfy Enhanced Disclosure from Access NI. Applicants will be invited for mandatory information session and interview.ROI Requirements

What's Next?
Further Study
Students can progress onto degree pathways. Progression pathways on to Year 2 or Year 3 of some Degrees exist, for example BSc Health and Wellbeing and BSc Applied Health Studies. Students also consider professional degrees in Health and Social Care, such as Nursing or Social Work.Career Prospects
As the Foundation Degree incorporates Work Based Learning (240 hours), students will also progress onto a range of Health and Social Care jobs. The course combines both academic studies and Work Based Learning.Enquiry
